Everyone has at home the basic material that we are going to use to create the crafts presented here today, as it is an object of common use. We’re talking about clothespins, which in today’s post will help us create fantastic toys for little ones.
In this way, and with these handicrafts, we will achieve two goals: entertaining children during their education and enjoying creation through play.

Means of transport
The means of transport attract children’s attention. Then, with several clothespins, you can learn to make one of them: the airplane. For this you will need the following materials:
- Various clothespins, depending on how many planes you are going to fly.
- Ice Cream Sticks.
- Glue.
- Ink.
The clothespin will serve as the base for the plane, while the ice cream sticks will be the corresponding wings and propellers of this air transport. If you don’t have ice cream sticks, you can use other materials such as cardboard, aluminum foil, cardboard and even plasticine to create these elements.
On the front of the tweezers, where pressure is applied, you should stick one of the toothpicks on top and the other on the bottom. Next, you’ll have to put one on the front, which will act as the front propeller, and one on the back.
You can paint this craft in whatever colors you want and experiment with the different models you create. A quick and simple children’s craft that can be used in many games in the future.

The moment we are living will be marked for a lifetime. For that reason, and for later memory, you can create a photo frame and take a picture never to forget that time again. To do this, you will need:
- Five clothespins.
- Glue.
- Ink.
It is recommended that the first step of this craft is performed by an adult, as it is necessary to divide the fastener into two halves. To do this, just remove the iron that binds them.
Once we have the ten sides of the pegs separated, the children can paint them in whatever colors they like. At this point, the second step is ready. The third and final step will be to glue the sides of the fasteners when they are dry.
To create a more fun effect on the frame, we recommend gluing the sides opposite each other. Now you can choose which photos to add!

One of the fantastic beings that children love the most are mermaids. This is due to the relationship they have with the sea and, consequently, with water, one of the favorite elements of most children.
Therefore, another of the children’s crafts with clothes pegs that we propose is the creation of mermaids. For this you will need:
- Various clothespins, according to the number of mermaids.
- EVA.
- Cardboard.
- Glue.
The catch will be the mermaid’s body. With EVA and cardboard you will create all the additional elements of the mermaid, like the hair or the tail. All this in the shape and color you want.

Raising animals will delight the little ones because they love this theme. Therefore, one of the simplest animals to raise will be worms or caterpillars. For this you will need:
- Colorful pompoms.
- Various clothespins, according to the number of worms or mermaids.
- Glue.
- Movable eyes.
The first step will be to glue the pompoms lined up on top of one side of the clip. You can choose the color combination of the pompoms to your liking.
That way you’ll be able to create explosions of color that kids will love. Finally, and to give more liveliness to the characters, we must also put the moving eyes together. And ready!
