The Sensations You Should Arouse In Your Child

Love is everything in motherhood, but unfortunately it is not enough when raising a child. When the time comes to fill these little gaps, a mother is born who must know how to love. This makes you, on the one hand, to avoid certain undesirable behaviors, but, on the other hand, know the sensations you should arouse in your child.

Therefore, in this I’m Mommy article, we’ll tell you what are those sensations you should arouse in your child, as well as all the attitudes that it would be good for you to avoid and eliminate from your life, if you don’t want to have toxic results.

The sensations you must awaken in your child to be happy

The ability of every mother to love is precisely the immense capacity to generate such a unique and special feeling of connection with those who are fortunate to have given their lives and, at the same time, it is inexplicable for those who have decided that it is not yet time to bring life to this world.

This ingrained and ingrained bond between mother and child happens precisely when the child feels included within the constituted family, and it is when he can feel that he has a place in the home. We all like others to remember and be considerate of us, and of course, children are no exception to this rule.

Obviously, another of the sensations that you must have in your child in order for him to feel full and happy is acceptance. This means accepting the differences and loving him as a unique being, with virtues and defects. Letting go of hurtful comparisons and avoiding expectations that he will reciprocate.

In addition, the child must always feel valued, and it is essential to constantly demonstrate how important he is in our life and the value he has as a person, highlighting his strengths and enhancing his capabilities.

Alongside this, respect is another feeling that every child needs to receive. No matter what age, temperament, personal tastes, or behavior you have: it  is important that nothing makes you feel inferior or unworthy of giving an opinion, of choosing

Clearly, the minor must feel supported, knowing that emotions are accepted and respected. Dialogue and understanding are here fundamental pillars to be able to accompany the child in the most delicate moments he will face during the most plastic stage of his life.

Sensations that speak of love

But all of these sensations that you should come up with in your child that we just reviewed aren’t the only ones. Because there are additional ones of equal relevance. For example, the boy should feel recognized for his successes and achievements, thus demonstrating a deep interest in who he is, and in what he achieves at each stage, whether a lot or a little.

It is also necessary that the child believes that he/she is a baby loved unconditionally and against any circumstance. No matter what happens or the mistakes made, the child always needs to hear this “I love you”, which involves her soul or, even, these gestures that speak the language of love. Tired of repeating it, never give it too much.

For this reason, the child must always feel touched, kissed, hugged, attended to, seen, caressed and, why not, breastfed and carried. It doesn’t matter what they say, it’s what you feel and consider best for your child’s upbringing. If, in the end, you never sought to have a perfect child, but rather a happy creature.

Acts that take us away from this well-being

As we’ve already said, parents must know how to love their children, and always do that. Therefore, even if you are going through thousands of conflicts that our daily life offers us, we have to do our best to be present, loving parents and thus leave a definitive mark on their hearts.

So, we recommend giving them space, but never pushing them away with a series of negative attitudes, or toxic behaviors that can come at a very high price in the future. Therefore, you should consider avoiding those actions that unintentionally drive your child away from you, for example:

  • yelling, punishing, hitting or manipulating
  • ridicule in public
  • criticize in excess
  • punish needlessly
  • Tagging and tagging with a title that doesn’t have to do with it
  • not listen
  • don’t play

Well, knowing that your child’s upbringing is in your hands and that the future of this life that you forged with love and sacrifice can conflict with these little personality-building feelings ; which side will you be on?
